War Costs: Conversation with International Peace Activist Kathy Kelly

Kathy Kelly, long-term peace activist and co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence (www.vcnv.org
), has been invited by Women Against War to speak on the endless wars
in places such as Afghanistan and Yemen at various local venues. Hoor
Arifi, a young Afghani peace activist currently studying at Bennington
College, will join her.
Please come to one or more of these
events to learn about US involvement in current wars and to benefit from
Kathy Kelly’s extensive experience as a peace activist.
All
of the events listed below are free and open to the public. Several
flyers are attached with further details. Women Against War would like

about the war in Yemen led by Kathy (Voices for Creative Nonviolence)
and Afghan Youth Peace Volunteer Hoor. This discussion will be framed
and inspired by a series of dramatic readings which will include some
sourced from IMAGINE: YEMEN, an evening of nine new short plays, held in
2018 at Manhattan’s NY Rep Theater. Potluck meal to follow. Bring a
