Black Friday near a busy shopping area is a great place to show our support for Standing Rock and get our message to the public. And that message is that Wells Fargo bank is a major funder of the Dakota Access Pipeline. That makes them complicit in the abusive treatment of water protectors and members of the media. They are also accountable for the damage to the environment this pipeline is causing.

The simplest action the public can take is to close their Wells Fargo accounts-and tell them why!

We will have signs or you can bring your own. Dress for the weather and plan to be there up to one hour. In our experience, the Cedar Rapids police department is tolerant of demonstrations, as long as we don't stand directly on business property, block sidewalks, or interfere with citizens driving or walking in the area. No bullhorns are allowed. We recommend you have your identification on your person.
