We’ll be getting in touch with new and long-time members in our branches to invite them to join neighborhood organizing and learn about their (and their neighbors’) housing situations during the crisis, the sectors they typically work in, and opportunities for neighborhood-specific mutual aid organizing, including: needed support with child watch & Zoom school, accessing government benefits, and maintaining power-up and hand-washing stations in solidarity with nearby encampments.
