Start: Thursday, October 21, 2021• 7:30 PM
End: Thursday, October 21, 2021• 9:00 PM
Are you a Purdue student, staff, or faculty member, or just a concerned citizen who cares about workers rights? Greater Lafayette DSA is fighting for living wages for all Purdue workers. We demand $15/hr now and $20 by 2026! Join us this Thursday, Oct. 21st from 7:30-9:00 PM at the Baptist Student Foundation on the Purdue Campus. You’ll be able to learn about our campaign and together we will talk about WHY WE FIGHT and HOW WE WIN.
Pizza will be served.
The Baptist Student Foundation is located at 200 N Russell Street in West Lafayette, on the Purdue campus. Street parking is available nearby and paid garages are also available. The BSF is located on the #5 Happy Hollow bus route. In recognition of the generosity of the BSF, we encourage comrades to bring one or more non-perishable food items (e.g. canned goods, cup noodle, et cetera) to donate to the food pantry. We are also fundraising for a local DSA strike solidarity fund, so if you can, please bring a few bucks to donate to the cause. This fund will allow us to be ready to support future strikes in the Greater Lafayette area.
