It's been a great year for the Green Party - we won 4 MPs for the first time ever! It's an amazing achievement and members all over Wales and England played their part in winning. The General Election has shown that we can win elections in all sorts of places.

One thing about those victories in July is really clear - every constituency had a proven track record of electing, and re-electing Councillors. Flintshire doesn't currently have any Green Party Councillors at all. But together we can change that!

COME TO OUR EVENT on SATURDAY, 26TH OCTOBER

We'll be meeting at 10 am to 1 pm at St John's United Reformed Church in Flint Town Centre (next door to the cinema).If you'd like to come along, please let us know using the form on this page.

We'll be discussing how to get some Councillors elected in Flintshire, including:

• How we can start winning elections in Flintshire
• What it takes to win an election
• What it's like to be a Councillor (we'll hear from some former Councillors)
• How you can get involved if you'd like to

It takes a team of people with a range of skills and experiences to win. Sometimes it can be quite surprising what can come in handy during an election campaign. If you like walking, talking, writing, managing, designing, editing or organising in any way then there's definitely a role you could do. Everyone has skills that can help us win!

Everyone is welcome, even if you don't want to take on a role and just want to see what we're thinking of doing or contribute to the discussion. Hopefully see you on 26th October!
