Gathering by the bronze statue, The Rock, we stand in solidarity with the women's efforts to focus (and speak on behalf of our partners and those who can't be with us today) on the right to be safe, to be treated equally, to have access to health care, to have autonomy over our own bodies, to have economic parity (equal in education, training and pay) and to be healthy in relationship to our environment (safe water to drink, safe air to breathe, and safe land to share). We are standing up for human rights, social justice, and inclusion within our community, and the world.
