A dark brown hand and a light brown hand shake hands in front of the outline of the state of Washington inside of two blue circles. Text around the outside reads: Washington Management Service Employees Association, and WMSEA, the union for Washington Managers.

Do you have questions about a WMS union at your agency? Want to learn more about the unionization process, bargaining, dues, and more?

Starting Tuesday, May 7, we will be hosting drop-in meetings twice a week for WMS employees who have not yet signed a union card to ask questions and learn more about forming a union at your agency.

Drop-in meetings will take place each week throughout May on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Noon-1pm on Microsoft Teams. WMS employees are welcome to attend for the full duration or drop-in at any time during the meeting.

WFSE Organizers will be in attendance to share information about the unionization process and answer any questions WMS employees have who have not yet signed a union card.

Why attend?

We have so much to gain by joining together in a union: better pay, better benefits, better working conditions—and a voice at the table in negotiations with our employers.

But we can't get to that table until we form our union. Nearly 1,000 WMS workers have signed so far across many agencies, forming a strong base of support. Now, our next step is building strong supermajorities within specific institutions, as our bargaining units must be formed agency by agency.

If you have not signed a card yet, these sessions are a space to ask questions, learn more, and become fully informed about the opportunity to unionize and create lasting change for WMS employees.

Can’t make a drop-in session, but want to learn more?
