On January 21, 2017, unite in Ann Arbor to march in solidarity with those in the Women's March on Washington, D.C. and in hundreds of marches around America. Scheduled for the day after the presidential inauguration, this inclusive, non-partisan march welcomes everyone.
We march in solidarity with our partners and allies to protect the rights of all, including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, immigrant rights, the rights of people of color, and the right to religious freedom.
The March will begin in downtown Ann Arbor outside the Federal building (corner of 5th & Liberty). Gather beginning at 1:30, to begin marching at 2:00. The march will occur on a route along sidewalks, ending at UofM's Diag at around 3pm with a Rally. This event is free and open to all.
PARKING: We encourage those who are driving to the March to park in either the Maynard Structure, the Library Lane Structure, or the Fourth and William Structure. All are within 5 minutes walking distance from the gathering point of the rally. Our gathering point is also just a block away from Blake Transit Center (BTC) on 4th Avenue, so taking the bus to the March is easy!
Co-hosted by Progressives at the University of Michigan and Michigan to Believe In.
