Women's March for Unity

Multiple action groups throughout Montezuma County have banded
together to create the Montezuma Alliance for Unity.
The new alliance is sponsoring a Women’s March For Unity on January 21 in Cortez in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington. Every state and many other cities and towns will also have marches on the day the new administration begins.
Every citizen of the region who wishes to show support for woman’s
rights, all human rights and for the health of our planet is invited to join the peaceful march.
The march will start at the Cortez Welcome Center at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 21. Arrive early and look for volunteer organizers.
