Yacht Haven Grande - Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Start: Saturday, January 21, 201710:30 AM

The Women’s March planned for Washington, D.C. has inspired nearly 300 other “sister marches” to take place from 10:00am to noon, Saturday, January 21—the day after the U.S. Presidential Inauguration. The purpose is to send a message to the nation’s leaders in the new government on their first day in office and the world as well that the United States of America stands for values of human decency, equal rights and freedom from discrimination – recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.

We will be marching from Yacht Haven Grande to Frenchtown Post Office. We leave at 10:30A.M

There will be a sign decorating party at Scoop & Brew on Friday morning at 10:00A.M poster supplies will be provided.

Our Facebook event page for any more updates on the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/124025168103759/

We are asking for water & ice donations and volunteers who can help distribute water along the marching course on Saturday. If you can volunteer or donate water, please call Nia @ 340.344.4603.

Anyone who would like to join the peaceful march can join us as we leave promptly at 10:30am from Yacht Haven Grand.

All are welcomed!
