Millions of people will gather at Women’s Marches in Washington DC and hundreds of cities and towns across the globe on the 21st of January in defence of civil and human rights. The message is to tell the US administration and local leaders that the majority of us stand for human rights and against racism, sexism and xenophobia.

In Castlebar there will be a peaceful rally in solidarity with the women’s marches in the USA. Ireland has close connections with the USA and what happens there affects all of us so please join us in standing up to injustice and intolerance.

Men and women of all communities will stand together at the ‘Bridges not Walls’ rally in Market Square on Saturday at 3pm.
