Start: January 21, 2017 3:00 PM
Youngstorget Torggata, Oslo, Norway 0181
On Saturday, January 21st hundreds of thousands of women, with their partners, children, and allies, will unite in Washington D.C. for the WomenÍs March on Washington (ńWMWî). On the same day as an act of solidarity, we are arranging the WomenÍs March _ Norway in Oslo, to demonstrate our common belief in equality, diversity, inclusiveness, and environmental sustainability. Simultaneous marches will be held around the world, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Toronto, Stockholm and Sydney. Throughout the past American election cycle, we have witnessed unacceptable rhetoric around women, gender, religion, immigration, and climate policy. Together with WMW we aim to ńjoin in diversity to show our presence in numbers too great to ignoreî and to ńsend a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that womenÍs rights are human rights.î Lend your voice to ours and join us for WomenÍs March _ Norway. *This is an INCLUSIVE march. We invite EVERYONE to participate: women, men, feminists, families, the LGBTQIA community, people with disabilities, immigrants of all backgrounds, members of all religious communities, and climate change activists.* HEAR OUR VOICE.
