MARCH FOR EQUALITY: Our Rights and Nothing Less. On January 21, 2017, we'll unite for the Women's March on Pocatello, which will coincide with the national Women's March on Washington, the Women's March on Idaho in Boise, and other marches in cities across the country. The goal of the march is to show support for women's and human rights. It's about respecting all people, protecting and fighting for the rights of all, and supporting equality. Our tagline is "March for Equality: Our Rights and Nothing Less." By marching, we'll make a bold statement that we stand together in solidarity with our partners and children for the protection of our rights, our safety, our health, and our families--recognizing that our vibrant and diverse communities are the strength of our country. ´ We'll send a message that weÍre part of a large contingency of U.S. and Idaho citizens who believe that women's rights are human rights. We will not go backwards on the already hard-earned rights of women and other marginalized groups and will not rest until women have parity and equity at all levels of society. ´ We invite all defenders of human rights„both individuals and non-partisan, non-profit organizations„to join us in this peaceful, non-partisan march for justice and equity for all.
