This past July the DC minimum wage for hourly workers went up to $14.00 and the tipped minimum wage increased to $4.45. This is an amazing gain for workers but the fight isn't over. We need to make sure workers know how to protect themselves from wage theft and ensure they receive the new minimum wage as well as overtime pay, paid sick days, and (starting next year) paid family leave.
