Back by popular demand, Future Ground Network's Introduction to Grant Writing workshop will:
- Provide a basic framework for writing grant submissions
- Encourage individuals/groups to give grant writing a try but to be realistic about the time and research that is needed to complete their particular submission
- Provide some links to grant opportunities and have some discussion about the requirements for these particular grants
The workshop will be led by Lee Anne Smith, a retired public librarian whose grant writing experience includes successful program and project applications from $500 to $50,000 many of which involved multiple partners. Lee Anne will be joined by Joan Laurie, whose grant writing experience focused on funding the development of international health science education programs and the facilitation of international student and faculty exchanges.
This workshop will be limited to a maximum of 5 organizations with up to 2 participants from each organization to ensure the opportunity for interaction and questions. Attendance at the grant writing seminar is recommended prior to asking for one-on-one help with completing a grant submission.
This workshop will be repeated as necessary to meet demand. A more advanced workshop may also be offered if interest is generated, so please let us know. The workshop will be presented on the Zoom platform. Participants are asked to please download and install the latest version of Zoom before the workshop start time.
