Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week is a coordinated global initiative designed to cultivate interdisciplinary learning and action on matters of climate and justice. This event aims to unite thousands of institutions and tens of thousands of people in a shared commitment to creating a more equitable and sustainable world. Our goal is to help youth move from climate despair to climate repair.

Schools, colleges and universities, organizations and communities can Make Climate An Event by organizing an educational event regarding climate change, solutions or justice. From 2020-2024 more than 800 events reached over 100,000 people in more than 70 countries. These locally-created and organized activities have included: panels and discussions, film Screenings, performances, exhibitions and art, games and more!

Teachers can Make Climate A Class by spending at least 30 minutes of class session that week discussing the connection between their course subject and climate solutions or justice. SubjectToClimate provides lesson plans, curricula, and teacher guides organized by grade level and subject.
