Please join un on Friday 25th of June, 4.30pm at MC2 Doncaster for our first local group Action.

Let's pause, take a breath and remember we come together as a group as we are all deeply concerned about the Climate and Ecological Crisis.

We are bearing witness to the death of the natural world around us, to ecosystem collapse, and the seeming indifference of our city and the world which carries on with Business as Usual.

This is a painful and confusing reality to live with, so we come together to share our pain, to feel our greif and to express our Fierce Compassion in the face of this Crisis.

We will open our meeting with a song to sing, our Rebel Anthem. Please find linked on our website the lyrics to this song, which have been altered to refer to both Manningham and to the Wurundgjeri land on which we gather.

We will then begin our Outreach Action to engage with passers by to talk about the Climate and Ecological Crisis, to occupy the space with adults and children alike - holding our banners, signs and info boards. We have a chance on Friday to build our solidarity and trust as a group, and our shared vision for a better world.

Rain is forcast for Friday, but there are under cover areas where we can assemble, so just come prepared with wet weather gear.

We had previously planned an action specifically around the North East Link Project, but we are now in collaboration with the Stop the North East Link Alliance and will join with them to set a date in the near future to have another Action around this issue.
