XRDC is CELEBRATING!!! After 2 years of a fun and disruptive campaign against Washington Gas' Project Pipes, the project has been rejected by the DC Public Service Commission! This is a huge win for the city, Join us in this celebration!

We will also have a General Interest Meeting, where you can learn more about our activism, our working groups, our plans for the next months, and connect with us as a collective of people who love life and are moved to act on injustice. We hope to inspire you so you join us in this movement. This meeting is open to the public. We will have some outdoor games and some food. Bring a friend (or two!), bring your plate, and your good vibes.

XRDC is an volunteer-based climate justice activism group that uses Non-Violent Direct Action to produce social change. We seek to overturn the climate and ecological crisis building a social movement of collective empowerment. Traditional strategies like petitioning, lobbying, voting and protest have not worked due to the rooted interests of political and economic forces. Our approach is therefore one of non-violent, disruptive civil disobedience – a rebellion to bring about change, since all other means have failed.
