We are thrillied to have Steve Barwick (Nuclear Education Trust) join us to talk at the Yorkshire Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament AGM on Saturday 18th January 2025!

His talk will be on “What should the new Government’s Strategic Defence Review conclude about Nuclear Disarmament” and will make reference to the recent NET report “The Futurefor UK Defence, Diplomacy and Disarmament – 50 Proposals for a More Peaceful World”, as well as commenting on the current global situation.

The public meeting will begin at 1pm and the AGM will start around 2:30pm.

Anybody who is a member of CND can attend the AGM. If you are not, feel free to join the organisation, or you can attend as a non-voting observer. We encourage anyone who is interested to stand for Co-ord and the associated roles, but you must be a member of Yorkshire CND to take on an elected position. Yorkshire CND is a democratic organisation and we want as much experience as possible reflected in our leading bodies.
