On January 9th, people in all 50 states will send a message to every US Senator through this event, sponsored by 350.org. The message will be reject Donald Trump's fear-based choices for cabinet nominees, all who deny climate change, and pick advisors who have the best interest of all people and the planet at heart.

Senators Richard Burr and Thom Tillis, you are invited and encouraged to join us in a community talking circle. Come hear true stories from your constituents about how climate changes are affecting them right now. Hear our everyday realities and obstacles, our hopes and dreams so that you can best serve your state.

Nationally, The Day Against Denial will fight back against some of Trump’s most dangerous, climate-denying cabinet picks:

- Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon, for Secretary of State
- Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator
- Ex-Gov. Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy
- Rep. Ryan Zinke for Department of Interior

The Senate casts the vote on the nominees -- let's show up and share our hopes and truths with them to help them better govern on behalf of the people!
