Calling youth leaders in Canada! Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to social change and gain leadership skills this summer?

Apply to be part of a cohort of like-minded youth who are motivated to lead social impact initiatives across Canada. Youth Leadership Ambassadors is a 7-week online program that will equip you with strategic changemaking skills, diverse perspectives on sustainability, and opportunities to connect with influential campaigns in Canada.

Who should apply?

This program is open to youth entering Grades 9 to 12 in September 2021. We are looking for engaged leaders — for example, people who are club leaders (green teams or other clubs), have an interest in youth empowerment, and are looking to build networks, connections, and skills.

Dates: June 28-August 16

• Kickoff summit (June 28)
• Weekly group workshops every Monday from 1-3pm PST / 4-6pm EST
• Weekly small group meetings (self-facilitated or a check-in with a program facilitator)
• Biweekly check-ins with mentors

Structure

Through this program, a cohort of youth will shadow and contribute to an ongoing justice campaign in Canada. We will be complementing this work with workshops (flexible depending on interest), community building sessions, and discussion circles.

Upon completion of this program, you will receive a certificate of achievement to acknowledge your work. In this program you will also have the opportunity to learn from mentors, make meaningful additions to an active campaign, and create an impact in our communities.
