Governor Newsom released a new school reopening plan that actually makes it harder for school districts like ours to reopen and meet the needs of our students. His plan yet again changed the metrics school districts have to meet in order to reopen. Even worse, it would redistribute money towards smaller and more affluent districts and away from ones like LAUSD.

Our children deserve better.
