Veto SB43, HB1194 & Budget that discontinues MO Rx for 60k Missourians!
Call Governor Greitens and tell him you want him to Veto SB43, HB1194, the budget that strips over 60,000 Seniors from MO Rx!!

Governor Eric Greitens has called two special sessions of the Missouri legislature costing taxpayers over $100,000 dollars when our budget is already tight. All while he has yet to sign or veto several bills that are on his desk. SB43, HB1194, and budget cuts discontinuing MO Rx should be vetoed.
Indivisible MO-5 opposes SB43, HB1194, and MO Rx budget cuts because:
SB43 - Would remove protections for employees who experience discrimination and harassment, and it would reduce the ability of employees who have experienced such issues to sue their employers. Ask Governor Greitens to veto SB43! We need to make sure that the people of Missouri retain protections against harassment and discrimination. The types of lawsuits this bill would block are not frivolous - they are essential to make sure professional behavior is maintained in the workplace. Sadly too many Missourians especially women have observed or experienced harassment in their professional lives so let’s not make life easy for the harassers.
HB1194 - Would prohibit any city in Missouri from raising their minimum wage beyond state level. This includes St. Louis who already has implemented their new minimum wage, this means that Missourians will have their pay raises taken away from them. Working people deserve a living wage. If you work full time you should be able to support your family. At the state minimum wage, a forty hour work week yields only $308 before taxes. More than one in twenty Missourians earns minimum wage or less. Tell Governor Greitens to have a heart, stand up for Missourians and veto HB1194!
MO Rx - On July 1, 2017 Over 60,000 Missouri senior citizens will lose their prescription drug coverage. Seniors on Medicare will no longer have access to the state-provided plan that pays for 50% of their prescription prices. Tell Gov. Greitens to not sign the budget until this program is replaced and paid for!
