The Government, and those whose interests they represent, know that climate crisis and ecological breakdown is amplifying the deep inequalities already writ large in our society.

They want to continue, business-as-usual. And because they know the public is not on their side, they are suppressing demands for change by undermining hard-won democratic gains - from suppressing the vote, to arresting protestors, to attacking trade unions.

Every one of us that believes in democracy must come together and fight for the alternative.

An alternative political system where people and communities have real power, where public wellbeing and ecological sustainable are prioritised. An alternative economy where workers have power, and where wealth and resources are shared among the many not hoarded by the few.

To win any change at all, we have to act together.
