All over the country, DSA chapters like ours here in San Diego are taking up the fight for the right to an abortion -- and access to abortion as vital healthcare. DSA members played a critical part in the defeat of the Kansas constitutional amendment that would have activated Kanas' legislative ban, and we're carrying that momentum into countless other activities.

Current efforts include confronting misleadingly named "crisis pregnancy centers" that discourage abortion, campaigning to defeat ballot measures that will make abortion harder or even impossible to access in other states, and pressing lawmakers in states where abortion is legal to dedicate funding and protection to ensure everyone seeking an abortion can get one.
