The ACLC is rebooting our committees! Our four standing committees—Just Health Care, Workers Rights and Living Wage, Safe & Affordable Housing, and Justice Reform—have been the foundation and beating heart of our greatest and successful campaigns. They are where the action is. Unfortunately, they lost their most dedicated leaders and volunteers as people moved or understandably redirected their time to campaign work in the lead-up to November’s elections. Now that election season is behind us and we prepare to gear up for another successful year for the ACLC, we need dedicated volunteers to help us jump start them.

Please consider joining a committee to help organize to empower Alachua County’s working class in one of the following areas:

·         Health care equity, access, and affordability.

·         Working conditions, wages, and benefits.

·         Renter’s rights, affordable housing, and housing justice.

·         Equal justice and basic human rights for the accused and incarcerated.
