Greetings, Climate Activist!
My name is Alan Weiner, and I'm your neighbor in Agoura Hills. I'm
co-founder of our local chapter of 350.org, and I'll be writing to keep
you posted on things we can do together to address the climate crisis.
Why 350?
There’s already too much CO2 in the atmosphere — over 400 parts per million — but the safe level is 350 ppm. So our job is to shift from fossil fuels to clean renewable energy.
What we do
• We show up and speak out at actions like The People's Climate March.
• We lobby legislators in person to advocate for solid action on climate bills.
• We encourage signing selected petitions.
• We build the global climate movement and spread the word by talking to our friends and working with allied groups.
