Just as the Teamsters’ UPS contract earlier this year raised standards and wages across the board in the logistics industry, the recent UAW victory at the Big Three (Ford, General Motors, Stellantis) will set the standard for union and non-union auto workers across the nation — including thousands of workers at new electric vehicle manufacturing plants in union-hostile states.

These historic gains must continue to propel workers beyond the next Big Four or Five.  Workers who produce government-subsidized fleets of electric buses, delivery vans, and trains should reap the benefits of these industry standards.
