Cold-hearted and Mean

This week, Senate leaders tried to rush through a bill that will take health insurance away from 22 million Americans and make health care more expensive for tens of millions more. They drafted their bill behind closed doors and hoped to sneak it through before the American people could find out how badly the legislation may hurt their families, but grassroots pressure has forced them to delay the vote.

President Trump himself called the version of this bill passed by the U.S. House “mean,” and the Senate’s bill is even more cold-hearted. It still guts Medicaid in exchange for tax handouts to billionaires and corporations, still contains an “age tax” on insurance premiums and still weakens protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

Now is our time to keep up the pressure. Fill out the form now and you’ll get a call that will connect you to your senator’s office. When you’re connected, leave a message telling them to vote NO!
