Win A Trip to the Public Education Forum 2020
AFT members are eligible to win a trip to attend to the Public Education Forum 2020 in Pittsburgh on Dec. 14.
The forum will feature most of the leading presidential candidates. Each candidate will answer questions and discuss his or her plans for public education.
AFT members can enter to win by answering this prompt: If you had the chance to tell the next president one thing about why you’re “public school proud,” or what you see in your school or community that needs improvement, what would it be?
Tell us personal stories about you, your students and your schools. Through these stories, illustrate the importance of your work and your support of our students. Let us know what you want the presidential candidates to understand about public schools that will help inform and drive their policies.
The winners will be brought to Pittsburgh for the weekend, where they will attend a social media training, get to meet AFT President Randi Weingarten and have a seat in the AFT’s section of the forum audience.
Enter between Nov. 19 and Nov. 29 to qualify for the contest. Winners will be notified by Dec. 1. We will select 25 winners. You must be an AFT member to qualify. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Void where prohibited. Promotion is subject to official rules and additional restrictions on eligibility. Sponsored by the American Federation of Teachers, AFL-CIO, 555 New Jersey Ave. N.W., Washington, DC 20001.
