America Works Together--Share Your Story

Right now, working people are under attack at the United States Supreme Court. Freidrichs v CTA, a case brought by wealthy special interests, threatens to make it even harder for American workers to get ahead.

The best way to balance our economy is for working people to stand together and negotiate together for better wages and benefits. We need to tell our stories, so that people understand what's at stake.

Workers like Pete Grebner of Minnesota are speaking up. Pete says:

I’m proud to be a part of the American Federation of Teachers. My union has been there for me, negotiating for better wages and benefits, better learning environments for our students, and smaller class sizes. What’s more, I know that the ability of working people to come together impacts our whole community from quick emergency response times to better staffing at hospitals. When working people need a voice, unions are there to speak for us together.
