Reproaction has now informed you twice over several months that your platform, which claims to uplift “ideas and solutions for a more equitable world,” is hosting job postings for harmful anti-abortion organizations, and you have failed to act. Even after confirming receipt of our initial letter, Idealist recently allowed another job posting for the anti-abortion organization Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, who are at the forefront of the push for an inhumane, dangerous national abortion ban. Staffing the anti-abortion movement directly enables them to be more effective in enacting cruelty on our families.

This is not the time to sit on the sidelines of the fight for gender equality. As young women and their loved ones are being criminalized for seeking abortion, physicians are barred from providing life-saving care, and patients are threatened with restrictions on their travel for necessary health care, we cannot stand by while Idealist is complicit in normalizing this reality by supporting anti-abortion organizations.

I request that you remove all profiles for employers who are actively making this world less safe for women – a position that is better aligned with Idealist’s stated values and mission.
