We won’t root racism out of our society without education.

But right now, anti-racism education is not on the school curriculum.

Changing this is a simple but powerful act. It would send a signal that we’re serious as a country about confronting racism.

And for millions of children, it will start to undo the destructive legacy of racism which is a shameful part of our national story.
