This is a training (mostly)  for people who are planning  to work/volunteer in State legislative/metro council/judicial campaigns I am working on where I would be leading the digital strategy planning. These folks would be someone who has been identified by the campaign/candidate to take this training.

If you are not someone who is connected to a campaign I am working on, you are still welcome to apply, as there are so many campaigns still to announce there will be need for people to work on them.  

The goal of this training is to learn how to

• Use Social Media for campaigns
  
  • Design graphics for social media
  • Follow a social media plan.
• Staff a candidate at events.
• Take good photos of candidates.
• Research for a candidate.

The ideal person for this training is curious, self-motivated, and is looking to learn new skills to help democratic candidates win. A computer and a phone is needed to do this work, so it is required for this training.

For clarity: This is not an application for a job, this is for a training.

With Covid not abating, this will probably be held by zoom.

Training will start  early January on mutually agreed upon dates.EDIT Training will start in February on mutually agreed upon dates. Having the redistricting maps be up in the air for several candidates has made it where this training needs to hold off until everyone is filed where they are running. *Whew*

 Depending on preferences of people attending, this is probably going to be 2-3 sessions with update sessions throughout the year.
