Offshore oil drilling devastates our coastal environments, as well as the communities and businesses that rely on them. These destructive practices kill beaches, wildlife habitats, oceans ecosystems, and our own way of life as residents and visitors of coastal communities.

That’s why the Democratic House of Representatives voted to BAN offshore drilling along the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf coasts.

But now Mitch McConnell is bowing to Big Oil and refusing to call a vote in the Senate. With oil companies spending big to keep this legislation off the docket, we need our grassroots voices to be even louder.
