Dues are the price of having a fighting, winning organization.

• We need more power to beat these landlords. They have millions–sometimes billions of dollars. To organize in more places, we need more organizers, lawyers, materials for direct actions, sophisticated database systems. These resources that we need to grow our membership, win fights, and grow our power costs money.

• Dues are the way to fund the Union and grow our movement by standing on our own two feet.

Dues are sliding scale. Suggested dues for people on fixed income or who are going through hard times are $1-$5 per month. Standard dues are $10 per month.
