With a growing number of voters nationwide relying on mail-in voting, it's essential that they have absolute confidence in the safety and accuracy of their vote.

Yet, tracking a mail-in ballot is less reliable than tracking a regular package because many states lack any kind of system to track ballots, leaving voters in the dark about their vote's status.

This inconsistency is unacceptable and erodes trust in our democratic process. In response to this growing concern, Representative Katie Porter has introduced the Vote By Mail Tracking Act.

The bipartisan support for this act represents a pivotal shift towards ensuring every mail-in ballot is securely trackable, bringing our voting system into the 21st century.

The Act mandates USPS barcodes on all mail-in ballots for easy tracking. It also requires standardized ballot envelopes, including the Official Election Mail Logo, to enhance security and accessibility for all voters.
