Building a Brighter Future for Refugees in Cameroon

Since the end of the Cold War, the number of people uprooted by human rights violations, political violence and ethnic conflicts continues to grow relentlessly.

The Refugee Welfare Association Cameroon (REWAC) is an indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to promoting actions that defend the rights of over 640,000 refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons in Cameroon.

Our advocacy and commitment to justice are driven by the individuals we serve in a system where millions cannot obtain the security and well-being they need in their own countries, which makes them turn to the international community.

Our goal is to empower all refugees with a better future as they integrate into their new society through the provision of legal advice and assistance, psychosocial support, sustainable livelihood projects and health improvement projects.
