Building Freedom Ohio is an organization of people directly impacted by criminalization and mass incarceration-- families, formerly incarcerated, people who have experienced criminalization building power.

We want to live in safe, just and healthy communities. We want to address safety issues through restorative and community based alternatives to incarceration.

Our mission is to develop the leadership capacity of people with the wisdom of their lived experiences in the criminal legal system to build and wield power in a grassroots driven organization.
