Clean Water For All Pledge
Clean Cape Fear has been working since 2017 to restore public trust and defend our right to health protective drinking water. We've come a long way and we owe it all to your continued support and belief in our work. Here's a small snapshot of all you've helped us accomplished:
- We've held three public forums, including the first ever public forum on GenX.
- We've built a network of local, state, and federal advocacy partners all working together to address our PFAS public health crisis.
- We're proud members of the National PFAS Contaminated Communities Coalition.
- We've testified before Congress twice regarding PFAS contamination.
- We've told our community's contamination story from coast to coast in an effort to educate and elevate the growing national PFAS public health crisis.
- We're actively working with local, state, and federal agencies and elected officials to address regulatory deficiencies.
- We've partnered with some of the nation's leading PFAS scientists to address health concerns and better understand our risks associated with dangerous levels of PFAS exposure.
Thank you for all your support! We couldn't have done any of this without you!! Recently, we identified a Roadmap to Healing. Will you join us on this journey by taking our Clean Water For All Pledge?
Our Clean Water For All Pledge affirms:
* I believe everyone deserves access to health protective drinking water--not just those who can afford personal filtration.
* I believe our rivers, streams, and aquifers belong to the public and corporations and government agencies must be held accountable for chronically abusing these resources.
* I pledge to support Clean Cape Fear's efforts at the local, state, and federal level to restore and protect our water quality and ecosystem.
* I will remain informed on the deficiencies in governmental regulations that adversely impact our right to clean water by following Clean Cape Fear on Facebook/Twitter (@cleancapefear) and joining their email list.
* I am committed to fighting chemical polluters and their misinformation playbook; as well as, holding our elected officials accountable for corporate capture.
* I pledge to vote for Clean Water Candidates.
* I pledge to remain engaged and encourage my neighbors and friends to join Clean Cape Fear's fight.
Thanks for taking this pledge. Together we can restore public trust and continue our journey to healing and wholeness as a community.
Yours truly,
Clean Cape Fear Leadership Team
