Become a Community Mentor!

Community Mentors are those who are willing to share their skills and experiences with others getting civically engaged. Their focus is on helping new participants understand how to get involved in Delaware, how to navigate the lay-of-the-land, or who have a specific focus area (e.g., housing, business, health, organizing, etc.).

Community Mentors are generally individuals who have been involved in the community or Network Delaware for a few years and have the time to support at least one other person.

The responsibilities include:

  • They strive to do as much as they can to help the mentee learn and improve their skills
