Consituency boundary review

The Boundary Commission for England has proposed an extra 7 Parliamentary constituencies in SE England. These new boundaries might make it easier or harder for us to get more Green MPs elected in the South East. There will be no constituencies with 100,000 electors, so it may be easier to reach them.

Take a look a the proposed new boundaries. You can type in a post code to see the current and proposed constituencies in your area.

The Boundary Commission are consulting on their proposals. They have to receive comments by 2 August 2021. Then they work on alternatives to produce a revised set of proposals early in 2022.

The Green Party is co-ordinating comments from local parties, so that two submissions don't contradict each other. In the South East region, three SE GP committee members have volunteered to collect data and comments: David Newman, Alan Francis and Karem Srcibens.
