Digital action: Take action with Reclaim the Power remotely

Wanted to come to Reclaim the Power's action camp? Gutted it can't happen but still keen to take on Drax?

Reclaim the Power were supposed to run an action camp from 8th to 13th of August, with Monday the 12th of August being a day of action against Drax. After over 22 pre-emptive arrests and tents, wheelchair trackway and compost loos seized, the camp unfortunately cannot go ahead.

We've put together a few ways you can take vital and effective action from home. All you need to do is sign up to take action here. We'll get in touch with all the details you need in a follow up email. You'll need some time free on Monday 12th August on a laptop or phone.

Drax is a wood biomass power station located near Selby, in Yorkshire. It is a former coal-power station that converted to biomass, and now entirely burns wood biomass. Drax is the UKs single largest carbon emitter and world's biggest tree burner. Their actions have been repeatedly linked to driving environmental racism and causing huge amounts of harm to communities, forests and biodiversity. They receive £1.9 million per day in "renewable" energy subsidies from the UK government. We know they aren't renewable and we're here to expose their lies.
