• 38% of renters in District C spend more than 30% of their income on rent, compared to 46% of Houston’s renters overall.
• Only 38% of renters face cost burden, inadequate plumbing/kitchen or overcrowding compared to the renters in Houston overall (51%).
• District C has a much lower poverty rate (11%) than the City of Houston (20%)
• Median household incomes of District C residents (101,372) is higher than that of the city overall ($52,338).
