Does your school support Free School Meals for All?

Last year, over 4 million children lived in households that went short on food.

Educators see the toll that food insecurity takes on the lives of our pupils.

We know that when children are hungry, they can’t learn. When our pupils have a hot, nutritious meal at school they can come to class ready to concentrate, participate, and thrive.

Our campaign for Free School Meals for All is supported by over 140 civil society leaders. That’s 140 professional organisations, charities, faith leaders, trade unions and local councils coming together to support Free School Meals for All.

Critically, it also includes educators.

Free School Meals for All is already supported by education unions like the National Education Union and NASUWT, and schools like Queensbridge Primary, Surrey Square Primary, and School 360.

Educators' voices carry a tremendous amount of weight on this issue. The more schools supporting Free School Meals for All, the better.

Let us know: can you talk to your school leadership about supporting Free School Meals for All?
