As an emergency medicine physician, a father of six, and a twenty-five year advocate for health care reform, Dr. David Gill came within a hairsbreadth of winning a seat in Illinois’ 13th District in 2012. Dr. Gill believes that the people of his district deserve to be represented in Congress by a person who represent the interests of his constituents over wealthy and special interests.

After beating Dr. Gill by just 0.3% of the vote in 2012, Representative Rodney Davis has repeatedly voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act, most recently on May 4.  In response, Dr. Gill's campaign issued this statement.

As a group of individuals, Together We Stand is working directly with Dr. Gill's campaign manager, to support his campaign. Future actions will include fundraising events with Dr. Gill here in Massachusetts and organized trips to work with the Gill campaign on the ground in Illinois.
