Pennsylvania’s richest billionaire, Wall Street CEO and Republican funder, Jeff Yass has put over $1 million in his personal money and affiliated PACs into the Philadelphia Mayoral and City Council elections in the last month alone. He’s trying to rig our city to work for his bottomline and his extreme rightwing agenda to privatize our public schools. Already, Yass is giving millions of dollars to Ron DeSantis’s presidential race.

Over the last decade, our movements have fought back attempts at privatization and austerity, so we can win fully funded moral budgets that invest in Black and brown communities that have seen decades of disinvestment.  

On May 16th, Election Day, let’s make it clear: we won’t let billionaires like Jeff Yass buy our democracy!
