In 2023, rural organizers, activists, and civic leaders have the opportunity of a lifetime to secure billions for rural development in the Farm Bill. This toolkit provides an overview of the legislative state of play, organizing opportunities, talking points, and the support RuralOrganizing.org can provide you in your campaign to secure this funding for rural communities. This guide does not include extensive background about the Farm Bill, but you can find that information with our partner Farm Action. We want to acknowledge that advocacy may look different in your community, but you’re the expert: we’re just here to help!
