The National Student Forum for the Student PIRGs happens two times a year. Attendees are selected by Organizing Director and Statewide Board Chairs. There is usually between 1-5 people from each state. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the student leaders from across the country to deepen their relationship with PIRG and each other to better collaborate and build a movement of student activism. There’s one day devoted to overviews, discussions, and skills workshops for this level of leadership and one day devoted to Lobbying at the capital and building coalitions with other groups in the student movement.
