Flatten the Curve of Inequality: Healthcare Equity

No one in our community should be afraid to access the healthcare system, especially during a global pandemic, regardless of immigration status or lack of medical insurance.

PPE distribution, testing and treatment centers must be located throughout the region, prioritizing low-income communities, communities with high percentages of COVID-19 cases and areas with limited access to or smaller healthcare centers.

People are dealing with fear, anxiety and depression, mental health resources should also be accessible for all during this crisis. Every individual’s physical and mental health should be a public health priority to flatten the curve of inequality.
